Young Life Center

Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." Matthew 19:14

Toddler RoomThe Young Life Center is available during all services for children ages 0 - 3. The YLC is located at the south end of the campus, adjacent the Red Rooster Coffee Bistro. Our nursery has a specific adult to child ratio so that one adult is not supervising more than 2 infants, 3 crawlers, or 4 toddlers.

Please be assured that your child will be placed in the care of volunteers who have a genuine desire to minister to the unique needs of young children. We believe children are a special gift from God and our desire is to provide the best care possible. We have a simple goal: to provide your child with a safe and happy environment where we are able to teach and instill a love for God's word.

The YLC Hours
The YLC opens 15 minutes prior to each service and closes 10 minutes after dismissal. Your child should be picked up immediately following the dismissal of the service. NOTE: For your child's safety, only scheduled volunteers and registered children are allowed into our Nursery. Parents are asked to wait at the check-in counter for assistance when dropping off and picking up their child. Your child will be given a snack. Please let our staff know if your child has any allergies.New YLC

Well Children Only
The Young Life Center observes a Well Child Policy. Children who show signs of illness cannot be admitted for care as this would expose other children and our staff. Signs of illness include runny nose, fever, coughing, etc. We thank you for understanding and following this policy by keeping your child with you if they have been ill in the past 24 hours.

If your child develops signs of illness while in our care, you will be paged to come get him/her.

Special Instructions
Upon check-in, please provide a small diaper bag with the following items (please label all items with your child's name):
The Monkey

  • 1 extra diaper
  • a bottle or a sippy-cup

If your child uses a pacifier, please make sure it attaches to his/her clothing. Loose pacifiers often end up on the floor or in the mouth of another child.
NOTE: We cannot feed your child meals or baby food brought from home. We will provide them a snack.

Check-in CounterRegistration
You will be given a Child Registration Form to complete. A pager will be given to you. It is common for all children to sometimes cry when they are left by a parent. We understand and expect it. In most cases, crying stops a few minutes after you leave. If your child should continue to cry, we will page you.

NOTE: Our staff is instructed not to release a child to anyone not returning with a matching pager - this is for the protection and security of your child.

Volunteers
Parrots The Young Life Center is operated on a cooperative basis. Parents of children who are regularly cared for in the YLC are scheduled to work during one service each month.

  • New attenders to Revival Outreach Center are scheduled after attending three (3) months.
  • Parents of new babies are scheduled when they enroll their baby in the Nursery.

If you are interested in ministering God's love to young children and would like to become a Young Life Center volunteer, please stop by the YLC and fill out a Volunteer Application.
