These are exciting times, not only here at ROC International Church but around the world as well. As co-laborers with our sponsored missionaries, we are committed "to win the lost at any cost".

This has been an exciting year for ROC, a year of many changes and challenges. One of these challenges is to bring a greater awareness to our church body and to the community of the God we serve and of the mission that stands before us. This year we are planning a greater emphasis on Missions and Mission Awareness than ever before.

The missions team will be working to keep U.S Missions and World Missions on the front burner this year. We have a number of missionaries being supported by ROC. View ROC sponsored missionaries >

World Missions represents a growing family of more than 4,091 people — 2,051 appointed missionaries, 640 missionary associates and 1,400 missionary children — scattered throughout 212 countries and territories. These dedicated men and women, along with their children, are taking the gospel to cities, urban areas and remote villages.

U.S. Missions partners with all manners of ministry in the far corners of our nation. Over 1500 missionaries and chaplains are involved full-time Christian ministry in one of six departments: Chaplaincy Ministries, Chi Alpha Campus Ministries, Church Planting and Development, Intercultural Ministries, U.S. MAPS and Life Challenge.

In addition, children and youth also support missions through the Boys and Girls Missionary Challenge, and Youth Missions--Speed the Light.

Boys and Girls Missionary Challenge (BGMC) is the missions education emphasis for ROC Kids. It provides resources to help teach kids about missions and supports our missionaries in their fields of ministry in the U.S. and around the world.

Speed the Light (STL) is the student-initiated, volunteer, charitable program that provides much-needed equipment to missionaries across the nation and in over 180 countries around the world. The ISM (Impact Student Ministries) goal for Speed the Light in 2008 is $8002.
